I give thanks for having changed my HEALTH and reduced my risk of heart diseases, diabetes and stroke.

I work very hard NOT to have to set the scale back so I can stay HEALTHY and Fit!

It's That Time Again...

You've been saying all year long that you wanted to drop 10, 20, 40 or more pounds and now another year has almost passed and you still haven't reached your goal. It's also time for all the Holiday Events, what'll you wear? Will you ever be able to wear that 'Little Black Dress' you saw at the mall?

If you ever plan to WOW that special someone, you'd better get started NOW! You know what you need to do and it STARTS in the kitchen where you eat CLEAN and then train MEAN!!!

Who's Ready to...

Now that I'm on the other side of 50 I'm so very thankful for each and every new Monday I wake up! Thank you God for making tomorrow possible because I know there will always be someone that won't wake up to see another Monday. Continued blessings to all that will.

My New Career!

How excited we both were! On October 17, 2013 I began training for my new career as a Volkswagen Transportation Consultant and today Ms. Price came in to buy her first car in about 15 years. It just so happened that she is my first customer. She was so kind and patient with me and I was so appreciative. She loved the first car she saw and test drove, what a blessing! I pray all my future customers be that understanding and patient.

Ms. Price looks FABULOUS in here new Passat! Looking forward to a long assisting you, your friends and family with the FUN way to travel in a Volkswagen. Abundant Blessings to you!

Winter is Coming...

Even though it doesn't look like this yet, we all know it's on the way. Being November and Thanksgiving is next week, snow is sure to follow soon. I love these scenes that are so beautiful, I just don't want to be out in the cold wet snow, lol... I know I'm crazy. Abundant Blessings to all.

We Did It!

What a FABULOUSLY Fit day it was today for us Sistahs of the National Black Marathoners Association! It was raining very hard at times but we didn't let that stop us at all. We made it through in record time and had FUN doing it!!!

This is our third race together, and missing was our Sistah Barbara Brantley who was recovering from knee surgery. The Distance Runner Hall of Fame Banquet was so AMAZING with all those Racers that have completed races all over the WORLD!  

National Black Marathoners' Association

This weekend I'm returning to where my first marathon was done... Richmond, VA. The National Black Marathoners' Association (NBMA) will be gathering there for their first Distance Runner Hall of Fame Banquet and I'm so excited to meet so many African Americans that have completed marathon and half marathons all over the world. This weekend I will be doing the 8K race with my walking/running sistah Trisha. Stay tuned for details to come!!!

Time to Get Ready for MEATLESS Monday!

It's that time of the week again, when we get ready for MEATLESS Monday! Well I'm very new to eating eggplant so I'm trying very hard to use it as many different ways a possible so that I'll eat it more since there are some really good benefits for eating it.

Just look at some of the different ways to use eggplant in our daily meals. I'm going to keep on trying to find more and more different way to the enjoy eggplant so that I'll eat it more often!

Day 8...

It's day 8 of the Squat Challenge that I'm doing this month and boy oh boy am I tired. Just take a look at how many squats I'm scheduled to do tonight!

I Did It!!!

Last month I decided to take advantage of a new career opportunity that was extended to me. To get started this particular General Manager required you be certified by the company, I'm so excited because I completed the certification about 20 minutes ago, woo-hoo!!!
