Party like it's 1999!
This was us in 1999. What a FABULOUS time it was. Life was actually very good for me at that time and I was very happy. Little did I know that within ((5)) short years my life would change drastically with the loss of my best friend at that time, then the LOVE of my life and most of all my mother. With my father's death in the 1960s, no sisters or brothers, I felt so all alone and began to cling to my children for dear life.
See How We've Grown
Wow, it's hard to believe that was us in 2007 with the addition of my first grandson. This was the first time we'd all come together to celebrate Christmas in years! It was so exciting to have everyone come in from different cities and states. While opening presents my oldest daughter received a marriage proposal and ring that blessed the family beyond belief. What a wonderful year that was!
Here We Grow Again
Here we are now in 2012, back together again with a few new family members. Two new son-in-laws, two more grandsons and a step-granddaughter. What a blessing, I just couldn't stop smiling or looking at them all and praying that it wouldn't take another ((5)) years before we ALL came together again. Even though my mother was not with us physically, she was spiritually and smiling as much as I was. I'm still thanking my oldest daughter who pulled it all together and made it happen, thanks again!
